Why register for alerts?

You will only receive information on new and updated opportunities, saving you the trouble of remembering to search do-it.org.uk to see what's changed.

How do I register for alerts?

The alerts service is only available to those who have registered with do-it.org.uk. After logging in to your account, you will be asked to complete a form specifying what you are interested in doing, where in the UK and how often you would like to receive updates.

What happens to my details?

Your preferences are stored against your profile on do-it.org.uk. They are not passed on to anyone else. You can read our Privacy Statement here.

What happens after I've submitted my form?

You will be sent an email showing opportunities that match the alert profile. You will then regularly receive an alert until you make the alert inactive.

How can I change my preferences?

Go to the Opportunity Alerts (link needed) page in the my do-it section where you can amend your preferences, the frequency of the update or the location.

How do I stop the alerts?

Using the Opportunity Alerts page in the my do-it section, untick the box at the bottom of the page. Your current preferences will be retained should you wish to reactivate the service in the future.
